Since joining RJE in 2008, Shelly has become an integral part of the company’s DNA, leading with empathy, accountability, and a relentless commitment to creating spaces that inspire. Over the years, she has worked in or alongside every department within RJE, gaining a true 360-degree understanding of both the business and its customers.

Shelly has partnered with hundreds of clients across the country, from healthcare and education to corporate, technology, and nonprofits, helping them design dynamic work environments that balance functionality, creativity, and joy. Her leadership philosophy centers on relationships first, fostering collaboration among teams, partners, and clients to deliver exceptional results and unforgettable experiences.

Shelly Langona

Shelly Langona, CEO & Owner of RJE, wears many different hats to ensure success, but her focused leadership is what drives her teams to success. Her energy, passion, and determined resolve frequently have her two steps ahead of the game, tackling issues before they even have the chance to impact a client. Kind to her core, you can frequently find Shelly chatting with her team members over a cup of coffee in the cafe or working to better our partnership and support of United Way.

Kevin McKiernan

Kevin McKiernan has spent his life’s work creating beautiful workplaces across the Midwest. As President of RJE Business Interiors, Kevin leads the Cincinnati market with the invaluable expertise he has gained since entering the industry in college. While Kevin excels in business development, he is an operations man at heart and thrives at providing clients with a seamless experience from concept to occupancy. When not working away on the showroom floor, Kevin can be found enjoying the Cincinnati skyline from the rooftop patio or rooting his Bengals to victory at Paul Brown Stadium.

Jen Burton

Jennifer Burton, RJE’s Chief Financial Officer brings over 20 years of progressive financial leadership experience to RJE. Jennifer’s skills span multiple industries including manufacturing, SaaS technology, and professional services. Outside of work, Jennifer is very dedicated to her family. When she’s not taking the kids to and from activities (including travel soccer, competitive cheerleading, and tennis) you can find her enjoying time on the lake.

Denny Sponsel

Denny Sponsel — affectionately known as the “Big Kahuna” by the RJE team — is Chairman Emeritus of RJE. While he has spent the last 40+ years shaping workplace design, his true passion lies in supporting the Central Indiana community through philanthropy. A hugger at heart, Denny lives by his favorite mantra: Do What We Say We Will Do. His commitment to giving back extends beyond RJE, as he serves on multiple charitable boards, working to create opportunities for underprivileged youth in Indianapolis.
