How long have you been with RJE, and what’s your role in one sentence?
10 years — I am a senior designer.
What led you to RJE?
Chance, timing, and the opportunity to work in an environment where you get to see things “come together” relatively quickly (compared to a traditional design firm role).
What’s a project or moment at RJE that’s stuck with you—and why?
There have been so many! Any time we have repeat clients, because they are happy to have worked with us.
What do you look forward to most in your workday at RJE?
Running the numbers and hitting a budget we need, without giving up the design intent.
If RJE were a person, how would you describe them?
Hard working, experts in the field, and a bit of controlled chaos.
How do you personally bring “hug your customer” to life?
I work to make sure the design packets I produce are as easy to follow and customer friendly as possible. This way, if the work is shared with other decision makers in the group/organization who are unable to meet with us, they feel confident in RJE and our skills.
What elements make a space inspiring to you? Color? Flow? Light? Something else?
The general energy a space creates. You know it when you feel it.

Detailed, problem solving, encouraging.
