How long have you been with RJE, and what’s your role in one sentence?
I’ve been with RJE for 17 years. I’m responsible for keeping everyone moving in roughly the same direction.
What led you to RJE?
Denny [Sponsel]. I had known him for almost 20 years when the opportunity to work alongside him and grow as a leader emerged and I was excited and jumped in!
What’s a project or moment at RJE that’s stuck with you—and why?
When we were awarded a $13M project with Cardinal Health – it was a total team effort.
What do you look forward to most in your workday at RJE?
I love partnering with team members who truly care, it elevates the work and the experience.
If RJE were a person, how would you describe them?
They are the friend who showed up to help you move…not just show up at the housewarming party.
How do you personally bring “hug your customer” to life?
It’s the “Golden Rule”: treat others with the same respect and kindness one desires for themselves.
What elements make a space inspiring to you? Color? Flow? Light? Something else?
It is rarely about one thing; it takes all those elements coming together.
What’s your signature style when working with clients or partners?
Be a good listener — they will tell you what they want and expect.
