How long have you been with RJE, and what’s your role in one sentence?
5 years this November. Working with sales and design to enter orders and coordinate with our vendors, while simultaneously project managing with our internal team to ensure projects are on track.
What led you to RJE?
RJE’s tight knit culture.
What’s a project or moment at RJE that’s stuck with you—and why?
Cincinnati Public Radio. It was very cool to work on a project for an organization that is so present in everyday life in my city.
What do you look forward to most in your workday at RJE?
Collaborating with my coworkers on projects.
If RJE were a person, how would you describe them?
Flexible, dependable, and a problem-solver.
How do you personally bring “hug your customer” to life?
By working with our manufacturers for the best possible ship dates to ensure we meet their deadlines.
What elements make a space inspiring to you? Color? Flow? Light? Something else?
I believe that the colors used and lighting have a big impact on individuals and how they interact with their work and those around them.
What’s your signature style when working with clients or partners?
Clear and honest communication.
What is your current favorite product from Allsteel and its portfolio of brands?
I have loved, and will always love, the Bit Stool by Normann Copenhagen. It’s been a favorite ever since I saw it in Muscatine, IA for training.
Why that one?
Because it is sustainable (made from recycled plastic!), can be used inside or outside, and comes in so many different colors and shapes. It adds a fun touch to any space it’s in.

What’s a fun fact most people don’t know about you?
I know way too much about different teas and their benefits.
If you hosted a podcast, what would it be called and what would it be about?
It would be called How Did I Not Know This? Each episode we would deep dive into a subject or fact that is not widely known.
What’s your go-to recharge activity outside of work?
Spending time in the evening on the porch with my husband talking about our days.
What’s your favorite hidden gem in Cincy (or your city)?
Technically right across the river in Covington. Larry’s, which is heaven on earth if you love hot dogs, tots, and a welcoming atmosphere.
If you had a secret superpower at work, what would it be?
Being able to communicate with animals, so I can say hi to the dogs that walk by the window by my desk.
What’s one thing on your desk you can’t live without?
My notepad (I love a good to do list).
What’s your go-to pump-up song before a big meeting or presentation?
party 4 u by Charli xcx (it never gets old).
What’s something new you’ve learned or tried recently?
I recently played the board game Hues and Cues for the first time, and I think it may be the best game ever created!
If you could swap roles with someone at RJE for a day, who would it be and why?
I would swap places with one of our installers, because, oddly enough, I enjoy putting furniture together.
